Dr. Megan Engbring is a Doctor of General Cardiology and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Megan has been nursing for over 20 years, having spent the past 7 years practicing general cardiology as a DNP in Flagstaff, Arizona. She enjoys working in the outpatient setting, assisting patients with hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, structural heart disease, arrhythmias, and sleep apnea to manage their conditions and lead full, vibrant lives. She has a focus on preventive cardiology and prescribes lifestyle modification in addition to standard medical therapy, providing holistic evidence-based care.
Megan graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and went on to achieve her Masters and Doctoral degrees from Frontier Nursing University, graduating summa cum laude. She has additional training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Lifestyle Medicine, and health coaching.
She enjoys spending time with her husband & daughter hiking, skiing, snowboarding, camping, practicing yoga, meditation, and preparing nutritious and delicious meals.
She looks forward to continuing to provide high quality, patient-centered care to the Flagstaff community.
