My appt went fine as far as I know, they always help you right away and they all seem happy when I'm there thanks. Well when I got to my appointment, I had a new insurance which then I found out I had to have my doctor send my heart doctor an electronic referral. The girl had called and got this information, so she told me, I told her I would take the new insurance card to give at centerwell where my doctor is because my new insurance started June 1,2026 which was today when my apps was. So drove to the doctors office, the girl there got all the information for my insurance. I explained to her I needed an electronic referral sent to my heart doctor for this new insurance, she said they would take care of it. Oh and while at the heart doctors office I had already rescheduled another appt..So a few days later I got a phone call letting me know that my doctor and Centerwell don't take my new insurance( which i had asked before I decided to change insurance because I was told my doctor took the new plan. So after a few more calls to get help with this problem. So my agent received a phone call letting him know what was going on, and some information was fixed to him with insurances that he and centerwell would except and use.So he was sorry, what he seen on the computer said my doctor was on this new insurance, but he's not so we proceded to now change my insurance to another insurance that my doctor takes. Now my new insurance doesn't start until July 1,2026, so I know don't have my doctor the month of June I will get him back the first of July now. So now I had to call my heart doctors office and explain the situation and now reschedule my appointment again, which I did for theJuly 1 ,2026. The girl was still just as nice and polite as my first apps when things all went sideways for us.My next apps was scheduled at almost the end of July which I appreciate that all was handled so easy and so politely by the front desk lady the whole incident i appreciate that she was so polite and very,very nice. Now I don't have my regular doctor until July1,2026 or any of my other doctors,so I hope I don't need any medical attention until I have my doctor back with the new insurance so things are ok again. But very thankful for the kindness and polite lady helping me from my heart doctors office, and she was also very patient from the heart doctors office thank (you) the lady up front that was so polite and very nice through all of this insurance mistake that happened, I'm thankful for all the nice and polite people who helped me through this mishap.iIm sure I don't know if I would have been able to be polie,patients and not getting upset from my heart doctors office. But I learned a lot about my insurance choices and when or if I have to change Medicare insurance again I know how to not let this ever happen, the best information to help so this won't ever happen again, thank you Gabby for the great information you told me I didn't know how to think in some of the ways you gave me information foe to do with changing to a new plan so things will go smoothly no problems. Thank you everyone for your help with what had happened, especially my heart doctors receptionist she new exactly what, how to do with all of her calling the insurance asked what I needed to do then changing my first appt, got a new appt while I was at the office, then again when I explained what had happened, and then rescheduled another new appt for July,2026, thank you. You know and handled the whole situation, you definitely new how to be sufficient in your job very patient and polite every time you heard from me with the whole ordeal.

I was scheduled for my routine cardio scans. Unfortunately, they were set up for different days, & further away than normal. Then they brought in staff from one of their other offices, then gave me a sooner appointment, and both scans were scheduled to be done. Dr Berman and his staff really do care about their patient's needs!9

He was my husband's doctor so when my primary doctor wanted me to go to a cardiologist I wouldn't consider anyone else. Knowledgeable, compassionate, and he explains everything to you. Definitely puts you at ease.

Dr Bear is very patient focused. He makes sure all of your questions are addressed. The desk crew, not so much. The often seem to not be focused on the person straight across the counter from them. To me, they give off an air that the patients are a bit of a nuisance.

I brought my 91yr old mother for her appt with Dr Calarese regarding her heart condition. My mother has always been reluctant to go see any doctor especially seeing a specialist. When we first arrived at the office, the staff was nice and we felt comfortable. Dr Calarese was very warm, friendly and had a great attitude which made mother feel comfortable. He explained her heart condition, he took the time to listen to her regarding her personal opinion on her health. After everything was said and done, he suggested for her to meet Dr Bear, a cardiologist to have her schedule an appt to establish care for her heart and for monitoring her blood pressure. I was surprised she listened to Dr. Calarese, I think it was because of his caring nature that she took his advice and scheduled an appt.to see Dr. Bear. Overall a great experience!

I was highly impressed with the care, professionalism and kindness shown to me by Jay and Cheryl handling my stress test appointment. They are the best techs I’ve ever had to help in caring for my needs . Trust me I’ve had more medical issues than I care to recall. Everyone from front desk,stress test techs, ultrasound techs are very professional and nice. Dr. Berman listened to my concerns and addressed them in a way I understood.Same with the techs. The office is clean,rooms are super clean.i like the fact that the tests were at same location. I really wish I was able to read tests results. There is a place in the patient portal but no results available
