Doctor of Nursing Practice

Dr. Megan Engbring is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has over 20 years of nursing experience, with the past 7 years dedicated to practicing general cardiology as a DNP in Flagstaff, Arizona. Megan enjoys working in the outpatient setting, helping patients manage conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, structural heart disease, arrhythmias, and sleep apnea, enabling them to lead full and vibrant lives. She focuses on preventive cardiology, combining lifestyle modifications with standard medical therapy to provide holistic, evidence-based care.

Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University, followed by her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Frontier Nursing University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She has additional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Lifestyle Medicine, and health coaching.

In her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, skiing, snowboarding, camping, practicing yoga and meditation, and preparing nutritious, delicious meals with her husband and daughter.

She looks forward to continuing to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to the Flagstaff community.
