Dr. Kevin Berman is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in preventive and general cardiology. Practicing since 1990, he brings more than three decades of experience in providing comprehensive cardiovascular care and helping patients achieve long-term heart health.

After earning his medical degree from The University of Oklahoma in 1980, Dr. Berman completed residencies in general surgery, urology, anesthesia, and internal medicine. He then completed his cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in 1993. Following eight years of practice in Ohio, Dr. Berman relocated to Arizona in 2001, where he has continued to advance cardiovascular care for patients across the Valley.

Dr. Berman’s distinguished career includes numerous honors and leadership roles. He was a finalist in the Connecticut Trauma Competition in 1983, placed third in the Connecticut Cancer Competition in 1984, and was listed in Who’s Who in American Medicine in 1988. In 1992, he presented research at the American College of Thoracic Surgery. He has served on multiple committees at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital and Phoenix Baptist Hospital, including the Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Critical Care, Special Care, CME, and Medical Executive Committees. At Phoenix Baptist Hospital, he has held key leadership positions as Chairman of Cardiology, Chairman of Pharmacy and Therapeutics, and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Berman serves as a lecturer and consultant for pharmaceutical companies and remains active in clinical research trials. Though he practiced invasive and interventional cardiology until 2010, his current focus is on comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations, follow-up care, and the interpretation of echocardiograms and stress tests. His approach emphasizes prevention, patient education, and collaboration to support lifelong cardiovascular wellness.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Berman enjoys tennis, golf, piano, and traveling. He is also passionate about the arts and works as a stage and film actor and film producer through his own production company.
