
Dr. Adam Calarese is a board-certified vascular surgeon with Peak Heart & Vascular, specializing in the surgical and endovascular management of arterial and venous disease. He provides comprehensive care for patients with complex vascular conditions, offering advanced treatments designed to restore circulation, prevent complications, and improve quality of life.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Calarese earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and History from Boston College, where he also studied abroad at University College London. He went on to complete a post-baccalaureate premedical program at Harvard University before earning his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine.
Dr. Calarese completed his general surgery residency at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina, followed by an advanced fellowship in vascular surgery at the Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute. His training and clinical expertise encompass the treatment of aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, limb salvage, and venous disorders through both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular techniques.
